No matter who you root for when NASCAR comes to your neck of the woods, Dale Earnhart is a name we all know. We've lossed a legend to the field and so much more.So my Question to all of you is, Tell me if you have ever met Dale? or any other NICE story you would like to share about the man...I'm sure the family would love to hear good things about the man they called dad,husband,or friend.....

I visited Dale's motorhome several years ago at Taladaga(sp?) with Ron Bouchard. Dale wasn't there at the time, but I did meet his wife. I recall her being very gracious and friendly person. She made sure that I left with enough Earnhart branded suntan lotion to protect my bald head during the race. While not an avid Earnhart fan, I feel the same loss that overshadows the sport this week. It just won't be the same anymore.
