ACCESSORY SALESMAN

I'm looking to get some feed back/ideas from anyone that may use one of their Parts Advisors as an accessory salesman. He would be basically be taking a turn on customers when they are buying a vehicle. It seems our Sales Dept is not interested in the spiffs I am currently offering them. I will basically have this person covering all aspects of the sale including his job on the counter

We have went the route of suppling a partman to work the floor . We then needed him to be on shift at night time , Saturdays and then Sundays. Then at the end of the day , our accessory sales were no greater than in previous months.we then went out and hired an accessory installer who can write repair orders and deal with all sales inquires.
now our NCD just calls his cell and he gets it handled, quotes on the job. Orders the parts and installs them....Our accessories are 70% up since doing this.
