Heavy Truck Parts Managers

I'm curious.... How many Heavy Duty Truck OEM Dealer Parts Managers are involved with this forum. As i read the topics and responses, it seems that car and light truck dominate the conversations.
I know many of the practices and systems are similar, but you you all feel that they are appropriate for Heavy Duty Truck Dealerships?

Hey Charlie, I feel your pain man. We are a Med. duty dealer though, but we support alarge national fleet of trucks and it can create all sort of problems that other dealers just don't have to deal with. Our fleet is one of the largest with exception only to Penske. So if i can help just email me, i'll be glad to swap war stories.

Welcome to the Club, Charlie! We are an independent commercial vehicle shop with a OEM Isuzu commercial vehicle division. WD&S and Dealers Edge is focused primarily on automotive issues, but it is still a goldmine for generic overall shop operations. The business owners really like the information provided, so I print out or forward pertinent articles and discussions every day. Keep monitoring, and I am sure you will find some usefull information.
