SUBLET MARKUPS

LOOKING FOR COMENTS ON SUBLET MARKUPS AND WHERE THE GROSS IS GOING FROM THESE MARKUPS??

Al,

I am employeed at a medium size GM store.
If you realize more than 10% or so in gross
profit retention, than your doing ok. We have
a standard mark-up of 25%, but you must real-
ize that many insurance companies and ext-
ended service contract companies will not
allow any mark-up at all or very little. GM
warranty allows no mark-up either.

You ask where the gross goes? It generaly
goes to the department it applies to. Maybe
you could be a little more specefic with
your question.

i think the question should be why does gm not let us mark-up some sublet repairs.For instance inj pumps.this is what hurts the most i'll take 25% all day long ,but it upsets me when we're told cost,cost for warranty repair.
