As with the death of Adam Petty, we have had numerous calls about Dale Earnhardt merchandise.
I am not a casual Nascar fan, but I don't consider myself a zealot, either. I have quite a Terry Labonte collection, but I don't watch every race, and I havn't been to a live race in several years now. Now that you have a little background, I'll tell you my position on this. I didn't have any collectables in stock before Sunday. If I had, I sure wouldn't have sold them Monday. I know that there are a lot of fans who want and deserve to be able to buy DE stuff, at a reasonable price. I want to ask each of you that have a Pro-shop, please do everything you can to make sure that the fans DON'T get ripped off. Place limits on quanity, or something like that, but please don't go overboard on your mark-up. It just ain't the right thing to do.

I totally agree with you and would not mark anything up more just because the man died, Out of respect for the family and Dale.
