As the new manager for a mid-sized Ford store in Michigan, I've found my predecessor went a little far in buying for the Firestone program. Any ideas on what to do with approximately 300 tires (mostly Goodyear ROWL truck tires)? I'm open to any suggestions ... at this point, any alternative methods will be considered.

Thanks for your help.

Buy 3, get one free ?

Mark 'em down and blow 'em out, and shed no tears.

Good Luck,

Have you tried calling the Ford Tire Hot-Line? They might be able to help you put together a manufacturer return to one of their warehouses as long as you are willing to pay the freight.

Marcdv-go to qcdealer.com for help in getting rid of excess tires. There was a letter posted in the February 12 edition of What's New. Go to What's New, search February 12 for the letter, then click on the "dealer communication" link in blue letters to pull up the info. There is also an "Inventory Posting Form" located in the Tire Center on qcdealer. The tire hotline has posted an excess inventory listing that is filled on a first in, first out priority. The dealer that submits a request to post excess inventory first will have the first right to ship to the ordering dealer. Remember, the tires must be ONP approved and must have been purchased through the ATW tire program. As the selling dealer, you will be credited the original ATW purchase price of the tires. Plus, the tire hotline can help if you have trouble accessing the site or posting your tires. Hope this helps!
