I need ideas on how and where to store warranty parts. I have used the 10 bin system, and have been using the "week's work" for the last several months pretty sucessfully, but i just lost the space I was using to do this. I need a compact system, that I can still access fairly easily. Any ideas, or suggestions?

I have always found the 10 bin system best to avoid damaging and missing parts so if your dealer has taken away the room you used previously then impress upon them the prospect for debits for missing/damaged parts both on inspections from ASM's (which are on upswing) as well as part return requests from WPC. There has to be room to properly store parts for this purpose. Ensure on your end you are purging the parts biweekly and boxing the CM's as they arrive and dating 15 days from CM date to scrap in garbage after inpecting for any scrap parts some metal vendors etc. would want to pay you for. There really isnt any need for anything larger than 2 storage bins in most dealers unless your volume and size dictates otherwise in which case its insane they took the space from you in first place since your exposure to loss is so much greater than a smaller dealer.
