Is anyone else getting a lot of grief over the lack of a spare tire in the newer cars? Especially those with E-Assist?

Richard, I had sent in a DFOAB issue concerning at least offering an accessory kit. It was issue 969 and went nowhere. Guess it's pretty appropriate, they have my Dealer Principal down in Disney World to show him how to take care of customers, meanwhile they are putting Mickey Mouse inflators in their customers car.

Just had a customer spend over 400.00 to get a real spare for his cruze. He didn't know there wasn't a spare in the car when he bought it. He travels our remote highway here, many many miles (kilometers as we say here) between towns, his concern was what if the tire was ruined and would not hold air no matter how much sealer you puumped into it.

I've been looking for a cheap steel rim producer to see if I can make one up that would be feasible.

Yup, I've gotten screamed at several times about it.
For a couple good customers with cruze models, I've gotten complete assemblies from the salvage yard and they're happier than all get out.
For the ones who I can't get a tire for, I've instructed them to call GM.
