Boy a lot of nice guys on this board. Usually cost + 25%. There are a couple dealers that we go cost + 10% and they do the same. I'm in Ohio.

BENTWRENCH

Does anyone complain on the 25 ? Thats what we are looking at 25 and have even discussed 30. My situation my be different i dont know but we are the largest by far in our area and it seems the others are just borrowing parts.Do you see any of that at 25 over ?

nineball,

Nobody has complained to me. I think everybody realizes we're not a non-profit organization. I'm here to make the dealer, and in turn myself, money. Now don't get me wrong, there are dealers who work together around here and have gone as far as to "borrow and replace" parts in specific instances(ignition part coming from a slow PDC for a wholesale account) but for the most part +25. If you're the warehouse for your area you can pretty much set the standard, but if you're the only one selling at cost +25 and the rest of the dealers in your area are still selling at cost +10 or 15% you'll be the last call on everyones list, but if you're the only one who has it................
