body shop parts gross profit

Looking for some feed back from other parts departments on what percent gross profit they are retaining on parts sold to an in house body shop.

We do the GM recommended 50/50 parts gross split. The GP % Sales to parts runs about 17-18%. We are a single line Cadillac dealership and take in a lot of non-GM vehicles in the body shop.
