SLP conundrum

How many of you have the 19119236 switch (recall part number) in your system. Yes it is an SLP part (go figure), but NO it is not RIM recomended even though I have PLENTY of sales history. Ship Direct part only, that does not relect on purchase loyalty. I am really down to the question "Whats the point?" But then again, I look at the whole program with the same question.

I just order them 10 at a time so I have them. I have the 4 CSO ones that will probably never get installed. If I end up stuck with some so be it.

Oh I do understand that concept. To bad the Corp. goons do NOT understand "same day service". Nuff said!

Did you call RIM and ask them to add it?

They added the recall fender molding kit for the SRX to my inventory.

I ordered the police cruiser control arm recall, enough to do the ones we needed, then RIM picked it up and sent me two more sets! (4)
Then, they have also picked up the more current Impala tail lamp seals as well. I can't get them to add the Trailblazer/Envoy window switch repair gooze, though!

The common sense of RIM astounds me (sic). They will add Tims moulding but they will not add Denise's switch (probably SLP). I'm sorry but unless ABSOLUTELY needed I won't even talk to them. You have a bunch of "graduate" computer geeks trying to tell the Dealer how to run their business and it makes no more sense than a post turtle.

I had to call to get them to add it. Fyi I had 12 sales in 12 months on the part.
