Has anyone received any of these yet? Any ETA? We have a Hertz point in town waiting on a bunch... I figured someone must have called Peggy by now

I've had two on order for a few weeks now for 2 Hertz cars. Called GM on the 11th and the guy with a funny indian accent said GM had just received stock and we should have the parts within a few days. Called in again on the 16th and talked with someone else they said they did get stock in on the 11th but was not enough to cover my spac cases and also stated there is no eta. Same ol story different day.

I just spoke to ALex @ CAC at 8:30 his morning and he said they are no longer being updated on the shaft. So I e-mailed my GM Rep. and she is going to check into it and let me kknow. I will pass on her message when I get it.

I have three on order with SPAC cases, all for rental car companies. I emailed by rep about ten days ago and have followed up twice. He can't get any update on these shafts. All I have heard is that all the stock out there on the locator is BAD !!

Have a customer who told us he doesn't feel safe driving his vehicle until this recall has been performed. He had it in here for several other complaints and it has been down for over three weeks. He is now starting to say he'd like a rental car. Called my GM Rep to see if there's a pre-approval process we need to follow to put the customer in a rental similar to the ignition recalls and he informed me, "we (GM) are not authorizing rentals for this recall." Really, GM? So if someone doesn't feel safe in their crappy, old Cobalt with a bad ignition cylinder (or switch, or key or whatever they want to say) that warrants a free rental, but if they don't feel safe because of a recall on a CV shaft in their brand new Cruze that's a different story?

I still have not received an answer from my Rep. as to what the status is of these shafts. Imagine that.

I have 5 people in rentals. My rep said do NOT let them leave in this car with a bad axle. We also have 1 that GM bought-back because the axle broke.
