#23237271

Hold material. Do not return or install.
Product is currently being evaluated and disposition of material being held will be provided in a bulletin to follow.
EFFECTIVE DATE:
Until further notice.
Haven't looked to see how many switches this involves yet, but I don't see how GM could make any one issue MORE TIME CONSUMING. I'm sure they will, though.

WOW. We might have installed some of these. I pulled 3 in that date range from ones on hand.

So do you read this to include 14179 and 14188, or just the dates 14180, 14181,14182-----14187 ? I have a heap of 14179 and two of them are for appointments today.

14179 through 14188, so include them. We had 20 affected by this "hold". 2 of them are here waiting already. Grrr...

It reads "between 077 14179 and 077 14188", but the date codes are like 077 14179-008 so I would read that as those are included.

14-188 was Monday 7/7/14 so some of these might be in transit to you now. Be sure to check incoming orders for a while...

This is a nightmare. I just had to pull about 20 off the shelf, and 5 that were just installed. What are we supposed to tell our customers when they come in to get the switch installed because they were notified? Or the customers that have been waiting forever, and just got their cars back?
