overnighting engine GM

any luck with overnighting an engine from 696?? Warranty pay the OVN fee?? Usually I tell the guys its 4-5 days out but they want me to try and OVN it.....

I believe the most you can recoup in Fed EX overnight charges is $100.00.

yes that's what I know of also but my service manager is asking for an overnight so wanted to check. thanks!!

Is there not a dealer close that will deliver it and have it at truckload? We get ours ovn from Iowa and we are in OK.

Since its oversize it will not ship overnight. It will still take 2-3 days I know this from personal experience. Also if you can not absolutely justify overnighting the engine they will not pay freight (emergency/law enforcement vehicle) often times the rental will be cheaper for 5 days than a 450+ bill for freight and they may question that too. Again personal experience.
