Any old Hummer Dealers?

Got a customer with an '04 H2. The RH taillight wiring got corroded and I ordered one. Of course GM doesn't have one, so I bought one from another dealer. Customer say too short. I have him measure it, and he says it's 5 foot. I call another dealer, they measure it, and yep, theirs is 5 foot, so i figure the 1st one was boxed wrong. The 2nd one comes in (finally, they sent it via UPS slowest way), and it's too short too. They bring the new part and the old one in, the old part is about 8 foot long!!! He says well it's 5 foot to the grommet...

anyway....any idea what I need to do next? Had another dealer open the one they had and it's 5 foot too... anyone run into this before? Part # 12335954

Call partech and see if they have any info. Or you can lenghthen the new one. Right now 58 shows stock on hand.

I would sent Mr. Hummer to Radio Shack and tell him to tell them he needs a "wiring stretcher."
(Well, I would want to, anyway. )

Used to be that way..... Now the numbers sometimes do not even come close to each other, so you REALLY want to look close to the R or L listed.

Did a little more research, EPIC says 12335954 is left side but basic part info in workbench says Harness Asm, T/LP WRG (R.H). 12335953 just says Harness, T/LP WRG,
nothing about rt or lt. Maybe call PARTEC ? ( or sell them a complete tail light, it's SUPPOSED to come with the harness)

Definitely call Partech !!!! Make sure you get a case number so you can send the others back as a error!!!!!
