HAS ANYBODY ELSE RECEIVED ANY OF THESE KITS FOR RECALL NUMBER 14187 LATELY.
THE LAST SHIPMENT OF THESE THAT I RECEIVED WAS ON JULY 9.
ARE THE CONTROLS STILL IN PLACE WERE GM WILL NOT ACEPT ANY ORDERS FOR THESE?

As a result of parts availability constraints, on June 17, 2014, we announced that orders for parts under Safety Bulletin 14187 would be canceled as of June 18, 2014, and that GM would automatically ship parts to dealers. We implemented this temporary process to facilitate an orderly distribution of parts. On July 1 we announced that standard ordering processes resumed for ten of the eleven affected kits. This message is to advise we have determined that adequate inventory of parts exists to reinstate standard ordering processes for the remaining part number listed below:

Dealers should place orders for this kit using the CSO order type. Dealers should not upgrade orders to a SPAC case. Orders will be filled in order of receipt regardless of whether it is classified as a SPAC case.



Please note that due to limitations on the quantity of shipments that can be placed on aircraft, these kits may arrive via FedEx or via normal PDC delivery.

I've received 2 orders of 20 each this week. First was right after they gave the go ahead to order and 2nd order was placed later that day and went straight to 88

Since they released on 7/15:

ordered 200 7/15, received 7/21
ordered 100 7/16, shipped 7/21, still in transit
ordered 100 7/17, 7/21, 7/22 all on backorder

So far we've installed 188, and have 150+ customers waiting that are aware of the recall, and 700+ on our CIDR

ps. So far installed 4,300+ of #5297428 harness clips for 14030.

My orders for stock have all been decreased to a quantity of 25.

I can't seem to get any, been ordering since we became allowed again, only 1 kit per line, by customer name. Maybe I should start ordering mass qtys to get a few through? The "see what sticks" approach?

Received another 100 yesterday, that were ordered 07/17, 5 lines of 20 each. Order limit per line is 25, as mentioned here and learned from 7/21's ordering experimentation.

Yes. Order 25 per line up to 300 per control #. Example; in Global I ordered 300 on 7/22. Make up your Control # and fill all 10 lines with the part # and quantity 25. You'll get them in 7 business days...
