And then the fight started!!! Cheap a** aftermarket warranty companies, I am sooooo done with them.
I quoted out two OE hubs only to have the service manager come back in and say " Joe Blow Warranty Co. wants me to buy two Auto Zone hubs for $??". I got pissed and NO, They count against my "loyalty", I don't make jack squat on them, we can't warranty them and I AINT buying them. Tell them to go get their own. He says "they can't buy their own out" and I told him "tough I AINT buying them, just tell the insurance guy to let his customer know that they bought a cheap warranty that will not put OE parts on their car and if they want the work done here it is going to get OE parts, PERIOD". And then!

One company told us that they will pay $xxx on two front hubs that are aftermarket from autozone, which was our cost on them, not the first time we got screwed on those "warranty jobs"

NOT DOING IT anymore, period. These people are padding their pocket big time by screwing the customer. If I look at the California BAR rules we are still liable for the work on the vehicle, so these poeple can just pound sand and take it somewhere else. Let them pay the tow bill and let them explain to the customer what cheap swine they are.

You think service is bad; what about body shop and insurance companies!!!

But GM graciously allows 10% to cover these infrequent situations. /s

Biggest insult is when that El Cheapo warranty was sold by your own store! Then you're REALLY hosed!

Big advantage here, they WILL NOT sell them!!!!!!!!!!!!

Use your parts and charge the difference to F&I until they stop selling that policy. LOL
