It seems that GM has removed the $40.00 core charge on the 19257875 steering motor. It is that great GM feeling again since we got 15 yesterday and were invoiced for the $40.00 core. Thanks again GM.

Hang on to a copy of that invoice. GM should make you whole within 60 days, for any purchases within the last 90.

How do I claim that core money I just lost?

No claim to file, GM issues a credit automatically. Save any invoices from the last 90 days just to be sure. I've received these credits several times when GM adjusts core pricing. Now that's not to say their system won't fail, so CYA and keep your receipts in order for a possible letter to your DMA.

Anyone know about the catalytic converter cores that increased to $100? Will all cats get the credit regardless of when purchased?

If it's a $100 core when you submit then that's what you get.
