2015 Free Maintenance Labor Ops

2015 Free Maintenance Labor Ops

Postby Bailo1 » Wed Aug 13, 2014 5:30 pm

Asked this question in the service manager's forum, but I don't think it's looked at as often. Does anyone out there know where I can find labor ops for free maintenance on 2015 vehicles? Maybe they're the same?? Any help is appreciated.

The labor operations and reimbursement levels are in the labor time guide - generally. I just checked a 2015 Silverado and they are there. Buried in a stupid place but they are there.

UNDER LABOR TIME GUIDE CLICK ON THE FOLLOWING TITLES TO FIND THE INFORMATION
CK FST GLC
PREFACE
PREFACE
MAINTENANCE PROGRAM (US)

Then simply find what you are looking for.

I have no idea who decided this would be a good place to hide the data but it does beat trying to find dozens of bulletins in my "cheat sheet" folder - which is now approx 2 inches thick.

Thank you drapp!

Silly me, thought maybe the LOPs changed and they'd give us a little more than $85 for a diesel oil change. I have crunched numbers for a while now and can't find a single scenario where we don't LOSE money on a diesel oil change. The fact that we have to top off DEF, regardless if the customer needs 1 gallon or 4 is total BS! How can GM only set one amount for reimbursement when the amount of product we HAVE to dump in the vehicle varies?

Richard,
wish I could find somewhere in the P&P Manual where it states that, but I can't. I'd ask my rep, but he's a turd and I won't even get an answer. So, do you guys only bill out 1 gallon on the free maint. line and if the customer wants more add a customer pay line then?

I am trying to find definitive information in the P&P manual, but haven't had any luck. Anyone know where you can find the amounts you can claim at time of delivery and when they come in for service?

In Globalconnecct go into service information under service workbench and find document #4578928. This chart gives the labor ops and claim amounts allowed under the certified maintenance
programs.
