Recall clearly states, one of two part numbers to order. one is GMNA (North America), other is Export. When I look up part in cataolg, both my USA VINS came with the Export driveshaft (according to recall). Is recall a typo? or am I changing driveshafts?

Anyone else run into this?

I have a call into parttech and stumped him. He is checking with engineering and will be back in touch, i will post results.

I can't get 14233 to pull up in SI. Where did you find the bulletin?

Parttech with a quick call back, was not any help. Stated to check with my DMA.... Oh well

I stock the "EXPORT" one and have sold six so far this year.

I'm guessing it's a typo but who knows with GM.

Like any of our DMAs will have the faintest clue what to do...

I just got a great answer from partech on this one

You have to check the vehicle for RPO code JNG - which means it would have a painted driveshaft.

If you don't have a painted drivehaft, you order the 22819506
If you do have a painted driveshaft, you order the 22819507

The bulletin should have a revised version issued soon I would think that will include the RPO message

MY DMA also said to order what the recall states.

I have 6 here waiting and 2 en route, has anyone put one in yet.. i hope i dont need to return these 8 driveshafts because of a typo.
