GM Ordering Issues

Postby PartsPlant81 » Thu Aug 28, 2014 8:14 pm

Not sure if it is just an issue with Auto/Mate or every DMS but my order will not go into Global and won't transfer to my order screen in Auto/Mate. Anybody else having a problem?

We had no problem we placed our order in around 1:30 though. What message appears on your screen?

Yeah, Same problem here, Called Spac and they had a system outage. Could not find my order and could not advise if we should reorder or not. So I called the local PDC and they said they were still down and not to reorder unless you want a duplicate order.

I had to change the order # and then it went through. I'm pretty sure it was a DMS issue as I called a dealer down the street that uses ADP and they had no issues putting theres through.

It was a short timed problem - probably took place in the span of 30 minutes. Global was definitely the problem yesterday. Could get into Global but many funtions within were not working for that 30 minute period. Anyone who didn't have a problem most likely wasn't using it during that time frame. My earlier orders were all fine too but a late CSO order gave me problems.

As far as changing order #, that's an Auto/Mate failsafe that prevents you from sending the same order twice even if it didn't go all the way into Global.

The problem yesterday, and you know how quick Auto/Mate sends an order, it failed to log in and immediately gave you the error. It shouldn't have said "Call Auto/Mate" though - they should have a "couldn't connect to Global - try later" message.

that's my 2 cents after using Auto/Mate for a grand total of 2 weeks now LOL
