So I placed an order yesterday for some 23279477 for recall 14299. Looked this morning and it came back "Backorder-Out of stock". Our local PDC shows 73,640 of them. I've definitely got that great GM feeling this morning....

Maybe it's just on "parts restriction" and you have to OVN each one.

Our PDC 051, shows 9080 of them. I guess I better try and order some more incase they do that to us too. Do any of you have extra G6 shift cables, 23238001 you want to part with since it seems GM can not provide them for us right now.

They don't show any National Review Code for them as of right now - who knows what it may have said yesterday though.
How many were you trying to order and have you tried again today?
Don't order any more than 24 per order though - although I read that they are removing that restriction as well. Maybe someone just clicked the wrong button when they attempted it

I ordered cables, and got them within a couple days, even the RIM ones.

Just ordered 300. Make sure you do 24 per control #, 4 per line and you should get them the next day now.

You can order more than 24 per control number. You can only do 24 per order line though.

I have been ordering 24 per line on any control # and getting all I order. I order 240 per order and it goes through just fine.
