Multiple Parts/Changing Whole Bins

My manager wants me to rearrange the way our Bins are in order. It needs to be done, just wouldve been nice to do when I moved every part in the parts dept 6 months ago lol.
Anyways, is there any way at all to move multiple parts at once into one Bin? Or maybe change one Bin into another Bin#, EG: change Bin 108 into 114? But if there are parts in 114, I'd be screwing myself, so Maybe make a whole new Bin like 114A or 0114?
It is just so time consuming to move every part into a Bin using PM one at a time.
Thanks in advance,
T. Case

You can do a batch change in PM.

If you are on reynolds, you can change one bin to another in 2107.

I have not used Batch Change before. I dont understand what I should put in for description/price ect, my Bins have similar part numbers in them, but most of the descriptions/prices are different. I'm sorry, but we only had about 4 days training on ADP, granted its been a year, its a slow learning process hahaha....
Thanks again,

You leave those fields blank. Also do an RBB printout of the bins before the change and after to make sure everything looks right.

My cheat sheets on Batch Change...I was pretty good at it when I used ADP but have been on Auto/Mate for a year and a half now. This might not make much sense just reading it but maybe you can figure it out. It would make more sense if I was there with you showing it to you but good luck...Let me know if you have questions:

Batch Change
Type Source #, F3, * to deselect everything, type in new source, F3

In Excel: Copy list of parts, Paste in empty field, Type in new “mark” (#, text, etc.), Put space in between original and new mark column, Alternating numbers in columns, Last two columns cut, Bottom of very first column paste, Sort ascending - sort top left column, Copy last column, SETUP PROMPTS IN ADP - MSCP

RUNNING A SELECTION AND IMPORTING INTO PM--BATCH CHANGE
CREATE A SELECT STATEMENT WITH THE CORRECT FORMAT
AFTER SELECTED SAVE AS
SAVE-LIST PM-BATCH-LIST
GO TO BATCH CHANGE THEN PRESS F5

Just an FYI: That first line where it is Type SOURCE...You can change ANYTHING in that whole screen using that not just SOURCE, I changed BIN LOCATIONS, DESCRIPTIONS, COMMENTS, etc. It's a pretty good tool to use once you get comfortable with it...

Do you have a scanner?
If so. that could be a way to do it.
