Is ANYONE that does not work next door to Plt 063 getting "same day service"?
I have 3 numbers out there now ordered on the 10th that have not shown up yet. They show shipped on the 11th with NO tracking numbers. Easy to explain this to the Service Manager and to the customer.........NOT!!
This is not the first time so one would think that GM forgot to send them the bulletin.

Maybe this applies to your situation, maybe not ??

From what I have learned or gleaned from various conversations with the GM parts hierarchy, there are two different measuring sticks with the PDCs. One is for their service area and one is for referrals outside of their service area. We used to have a huge problem with Reno (the old 42), not so much with Sparks (the new 86) with referrals. The union was supposedly taking care of their service area customers, but the referrals were held hostage and at one point were removed from the West Coast shipping chain until all the squabbles were dealt with. I recall that they "didn't have time" to ship the referrals, so they "had to work overtime" to ship the referrals on Saturdays. This was years ago, but there is nothing new under the sun...

"Nothing new............... Yup you hit the nail on the head. 063 is a "GM A/C Delco" WH in Tennessee. A lot of the "Hybrid" batteries come from there along with some other Saturn Parts. "Same Day Service" is only a DEMAND GM puts on the Dealer. Those rules do not apply to themselves. Just a little MORON trivia!!!!!!!!!!!!!
