Is it a problem in GM RIMs eyes to sell a " Napa/AutoZone/etc " part on an ro with a GM part number ? My DMS does not hit inventory qty on hand when selling an EP part. I'm just talking bulbs, or maybe wiper blades, not big parts like hub and bearings - batteries - starters, etc

I've heard it's considered fraud as you're representing the parts as original equipment by using the GM part number. GM does track this, as they can be flagged as "insufficient purchases" on your sales loyalty report.

That's A Big "NO-NO" Just Sell The Aftermarket Parts Under The Aftermarket Number And Take It On The Chin.... Remember Your Not There To Be Selling Someone Else's Parts Your There To Be Selling Your GM Parts Exclusively,Nothing Would Irk Me More Then To Take My Vehicle To A Dealership And Open My Hood Later And Find Aftermarket Parts Installed In There When I Paid For Genuine GM Parts.Get Rid Of Those Aftermarket Parts And Put In GM/AC Delco Parts You Will Not Regret It.

We sell them on a parts invoice, and staple to RO. No gross transfer that way either.

GM Does not track "counter invoices". No way to do it unless you are "forced" to add VIN #'s. Give them a chance and soon they will "demand" it!!

We haven't had enough big ticket items forced on us by aftermarket to put my bonus at risk so I go ahed and bill out on the ticket since we don't get paid off of sublets. When we do things like wheels and liftkits on a lot truck, I bill those to the unit on a counter ticket. I always use the part number for the part I bought, never a GM number. You can't use counter tickets if it is an extended warranty repair so either bill it on the RO and risk losing bonus money or put it on as a sublet.
