just check list of 22 oe hub bearings . have 13 of the numbers in stock will lose $767.45 as of feb 1

We stand to lose a lot as well. I plan to keep the pricing the same unless it is warranty. Wonder if we could add net item on those ROs for the difference an attach a copy of the original invoice, like we do when we pick them up from another dealer? A few bucks is no problem, but these are seriously significant decreases.

I'm happy that I will be selling more OE hub & bearings now as the lower prices will make me competitive with the crap from NAPA.

Chrysler guy here so I am not well versed on GM policy. Would it be possible to send them back now on a return and take the smaller hit on the return charges? Then just reorder next month. Just thinking out loud here.

Unfortunately GM charges a 35 percent restocking fee, and RIM will reorder under old price if you send them back and remove them from inventory before the price increase.

I'm shocked they actually told us about it a head of time.

Just wondering if anyone has a good way to protect your dealers investment with this. We stand to lose $459.21 on this. Would it be right to manually adjust the selling price of the current stock until we sell them off? Then when we reorder adjust to the new price structure?

It will be offest by appreciation from price increases during the year so don't worry about it.
