Replaced window glass on a 2014 pickup (c pay) Now has a complaint of polarized sun glasses effect. The original window glass didn't have this problem. We checked 14's on the lot and they do not have the problem.
anyone else have issues like this?
They want me to order another, but I have a feeling its going to be the same.

I assume the new windshield came from Pittsburg Glass Works? If yes give them a call. There are actually people there that are nice and answer the phone. Google PPG glass I think that's where I got the number from.

To be honest, all I wear is polarized glasses and I don't remember looking through a side glass or back glass and not seeing those "spots." And, its more prevalent with glass with window film on it. That being said, from I have been told is that the spotting is due to the light refraction through the glass and the polarizing filters of the sunglass lens. This only occurs in tempered glass and why you wont see it in windshields. Hope this helps
