Does anyone use GPS tracking for their parts drivers? If so, what product do you use? Thanks in advance!

Just installed it last week. We went with a company called VehiclePath, model number VP2500. www (dot) vehiclepath (dot)com is their website, it has some pretty good info. We use it for location purposes, but there are many features available. About $300 per truck, and around $30 a month for the service.

We have a company phone that's an iPhone. Just download "find friends" from the app store and add the number/email to my personal phone. As long as they have the phone, I can see where they are. Not bulletproof, but cheap and easy.

We use super trackstick. It is easy to use with a lot of functions and you can use it on any vehicle. It is battery operated just stick on the truck and when done plug it into computer to get all of your info. We have been using it for years

We use dealerlink, plugs into the diagnostic port, gives pretty close to real time gps on my computer, ignition on and offs, you can set it to send alerts of a certain speed is exceeded, etc. I don't need it for my current drivers, really, but within my auto group they have had issues in the past so these units are in every company owned vehicle.

We don't use it but I just got from a GM meeting where I was introduced to a company called Elite Extra. The dealers that I have spoken to that use it have had great things to say. It was pretty cheap too. If your drivers already have iPhones it is only $50.00 a month per line, if they don't have iPhones you can normally get free tablets and the data plans are only $18.00 a month. With Elite there is no contract and you pay as you go, so if you don't use one cell phone or tablet all month you don't get charged for it.
