Remember how when we used to log in to Global all of messages would be in that box in the middle of the page?
How do we see our messages in the "updated" Global?

I go to the main parts page and click messages at the top on the header.

According to the folks at GC, these message are now called "Alerts" and "Headlines" which is complete B.S. the homepage is 90% sales related with a few recalls listed. You now have to go to each department's page and see the "Headlines" and expand the link and see only that dep't messages. Another way is from the top bar on the right where it says "HELLO, ###" click that then "Old Messages" which will link you back to the old GC page, with current messages added but without dep't headers. However there were some headlines in the new Parts page yesterday that have not updated to this "old messages" listing.

Go ahead and enhance me some more, I need it.

Great to know the OLD MESSAGES tab is actually the current updated message tab.
What a waste of resources and time for something that isn't really updated...

I just found out yesterday how to find the messages. On the right side of the screen where it says Hello ________, click there and you will get a drop down and 1of those will be old messages. Gotta love it, I needed another hoop to jump through I was bored.

Personally, I click on the shortcuts link on the new page, then my shortcut to "Parts main page." Then I close the tab for the new turd, I mean page then use the old page and it's shortcuts like I always have.

thanks for the tips on locating the "old messages"... I was not able to find them on my own.

GC help desk told me they are no longer adding any new messages to the "My Old Messages" tab. You will need to hunt around each dep't page to get them now

How do you add shortcuts?

The only ones you can add are in the APP center. They have most of the major links like EPIC and IVH, but not sub-links like engineering notes, backorder reports or SPAC cases.
