Excise Tax on GM Tire Invoices

Just received an invoice for a tire this morning and it has a $0.19 Federal Excise Tax listed seperate on the invoice. Looked at past invoices and I don;t see it. I will be calling the Tire Program HQ on Monday to see what is up with this.

LT tires get the federal excise tax.

I have to admit, I never have caught this on any previous invoices. I will have to look back at some previous invoices to see if it showed up on them. Thanks

Our tire distributor, ATD runs a website for us that shows this excise tax under the price of the tire. Of course my guys always miss it when quoting so we eat it. If the deal is still open I add it to cost of the tires and charge the tax to 242. If its closed it goes to debit 687.
