My dms doesn't support oec pricelink. So this will make more work for less $. The point of this program is for gm to compete with aftermarket. So if gm sets the discounts to customer, what about dealer net? Is it going to be a bigger hit to the dealer?

Of course it's going to affect the Dealer! GM could drop the MSRP to Dealer Cost + 20% and there's absolutely NOTHING you can do about it!

GM doesn't give a sh!t about the dealer.
They get their $$ when we buy the part.
This program will put more $$ in their pockets and less in ours.

Look at what they did with engine and trans list pricing.

This program is ridiculous. OEC trying to sell more subscriptions and GM trying to sell more parts from insurance estimates...
I don't understand why we can't have list price in our DMS if the adjusters and body shops will have access to list prices for their estimates?

I *think* the price reduction on Engine and Transmissions has something to do with GM Dealers, from various regions of the States, that are able to charge GM Retail Prices on warranty repairs due to State Laws that are in place.

Exactly my thoughts

i see this as being a program ONLY for very large dealers, and the rest of us get shutout.
