The only one that I sign is the Field Scrap paper. I have never signed the scrap authorization on H or W returns and never will. Basically just says they can scrap anything they deem non-returnable and you don't get to see the proof. Another thing that I do is snap a pic of my return parts as they are pulled and when they are set out for the driver. Had that come in handy once for a hood that was returned to me in a destroyed and water damaged box claiming it was in non-returnable condition. Wanna guess what kind of shape it was in in the pics before it was picked up?
