Monday I put two orders in of about 40 pieces total plus a stock order of about 20 pieces. I received one part from each special order and no stock order. TWO FREAKING PIECES! we had four or five jobs torn apart ready to go, waiting on the truck. It was a freaking nightmare. So we call the PDC, Chicago, and get an answer of "Well I'm not really sure why that happened." Finally we get told because of the huge influx of orders over the holidays we were overwhelmed but we thought we filled all the special orders. Well obviously they didn't! So I made it very clear that they were going to take back everything I had to source from elsewhere because that whole deal was BS! Then I get blowback for demanding that. Finally he agreed to take what I don't need anymore back.

And then now EPIC is down!

Nightmare!

We got nothing from our facing PDC (Reno) today. Apparently the truck broke down. :roll:

Must be a plague, truck from Hudson 13 hours late yesterday (broke down) 7-8 hrs late today at last report???????

Charlotte yesterday we were short 2 loose pieces and a tote. Today we are short a tote and one loose piece and no packing slip. Last week we were shorted on two days. Lanter delivery.

What a bunch of BS! Nobody cares what happens to us little guys. All the explaining to customers we have to do. How hard is it to keep a scheduled truck on time and pulling all the correct parts. I can understand minor inconveniences but 13 hours? and all the missing stuff?!


Makes me angry!!!!!!!!!!!

And they hold all the cards, there ain't a dang thing we can do about most of it!

same here, I understand the delay of our Hudson route Monday & Tuesday because of all the snow we got. But still today the route is 3-4 hours behind, the reason is " DOT HOURS OF SERVICE"... when our driver dropped off yesterday he said that he had been at the docks since 1 am and they didn't have his truck ready til 6 am. Makes for a real nice start to a "month end / year end " day. :oops: :oops:

So today I got the freight I was supposed to get yesterday, and shorted the freight I was supposed to get today. :lol:

yesterday, we got maybe three parts, plus one for another dealership 25 minutes away.
didn't get the other 16 parts on our order...

today, we got the stuff we were supposed to get yesterday, plus our order for today, then a fender liner for a cruze got shipped to someone else.

:shrug: another day at the circus.
