Was wondering if anyone could give some insight into Base pay for parts managers and counterpersonel? And different types of pay depending on Experience and Knowhow?

Typically, you would see a base pay for counter personnel and management at roughly half of their overall pay. The commission for the counter personnel is usually off the gross profit of the department to make up the rest. For management, the commission is usually made up off the net of the department after expenses.

Some departments are also offering incentives based on labor hours produced in the shop for counter personnel working with technicians to increase sales and productivity at the tech counter.
