To all the parts people on the forum, around it and in it, I wish all of you a happy and Prosperous New Year. May you successfully fight the battles each day from so many sources, at the counters and on the phones. May you continue to work the miracles of having the right part, at the right time, in the right quantity for everyone who does not know that you 'small' selection on the shelves has to be drawn from hundreds, nay millions, of parts available from any given manufacturer.

May you be blessed with patience of those who have not 'walked' in you shoes and haven't the foggiest clue about what you really do, from the theorists in the factory distribution to the 'one time' customer off the street. You are a great bunch of people whose skills were learned the hard way, the apprenticeship route, which is seldom if ever, taught in an academic setting.

My hat is off to you for 2016; now to and conquer the infidel. ;)

Mr. Nicoles,

Happy New Year to you as well.

And may I say, well said - I won't describe myself as 'great' but that is exactly how I attempted to learn this business. Now I describe learning this business as trying to hit a moving target with too slow of a bullet.
