Unapproved RIM parts showing up??

Has anybody else had RIM order parts that you swear you didn't approve? I had items that came in today that I don't remember approving. As a matter of fact I remember specifically excluded some of them in the past. Maybe I'm getting old and my memory not so good or maybe I'm a conspiracy nut but I think GM is sneaking parts in without my approval. Anybody else feel this way?

Wow. And I thought it was just me. Yea, today I had 2 different part numbers of hydraulic lifters and an exterior door molding
show up. I know I didn't approve the lifters due to the fact they're multiples of 8. As for the molding, I wouldn't approve that because I don't have a body shop or any type of crash wholesale. I thought just like you it was because of age ( remember wholesale compensation?). I wouldn't be surprised if they did.

Happens here all the time, at least a few times per month.

Go ahead and try to argue with them, I dare you  I'd rather just put them on the shelf and watch 'em collect dust for 15 months. Then use our measly return reserve to send 'em back on our dime because RIM will say they never proposed them in the first place.

Happens to me every Tuesday. I do the recalc proposals and new proposals on Monday. On Tuesday, I get parts I know that I declined. Got tired of arguing with them. Today, I received a proposal on a part that I have only sold once in 6 years. Cmon, this is ludicrous.

Check the stocking policy information in the stocking policy basic detail...it will tell you what date you allegedly approved the part. That may help you figure out if you actually approved it or if it was another "glitch in the system"...

I have found that they put new proposals in the recalc section.
I check every recalc that has a zero stocking guide.
This has eliminated 99.99 % of my surprise new parts.
