DOES ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW IF WE ARE ALLOWED A PARTS MARKUP ON ITEMS THAT GM HAD ONE OF THEIR SUPPLIERS SHIP TO US DIRECTLY?
GM HAD TIRES SENT IN TO US DIRECTLY FROM GOODYEAR.
IS THERE A SECTION IN THE P&P BOOK ( PARTS OR SERVICE) THAT EXPLAINS THIS?
I WAS UNABLE TO FIND IT.
.
THANKS,

Did the supplier send them to you to replenish stock you sold? OEConnect has been downloading ours and refilling stock since the first of the year. We have to manually adjust the ones we do not want replenished.
If you subscribe to Oec, look under the D2D Link Tasks bar on the left side of your window, select the Stocking Guide section, and there you can see what, if anything, is being replenished.

NO DENISE,
THESE TIRES CAME IN DIRECT FROM GOODYEAR FOR A VEHICLE IN MY SHOP.
THE 2 SETS OF TIRES THAT I SUPPLIED FROM MY STOCK , AND THEN ANOTHER SET FROM MY LOCAL TIRE SUPPLIER COULD NOT BE BALANCED.
SO THE SERVICE MANAGER AND THE GM REP. ARRANGED FOR THESE TO COME IN DIRECTLY FROM GOODYEAR. THEY ARE CALLED "CERTIFIED" TIRES THAT ARE ALL UNDER A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF "ROAD FORCE"

If you are not being billed for these "certified" tires, then you have nothing to bill out. But you still get the handle them for free.
On a side note, it is too bad that all tires were not "certified". With our new road force machine, lots of tires fail, which means lots of tires aren't "certified".
