tracking comebacks

tracking comebacks

seem to have a high incidence of comebacks lately
have 2 trains of though --one is reward
and one is punishment.

thinking of posting a comeback log in the shop re techs and advisors

or starting each tech with $100 and taking away $25 for each comeback

opinions please.

I have the found the most effective way for comebacks to decrease is to let the techs handle it themselves. I track them, post them and talk about them, BRIEFLY, at meetings. No need to mention names because everyone knows who had what come back. Once the word is out that our reputation is on the line, the techs seem to get better some how. I suspect they go to each other more for help... or just slow down and focus on doing it right the first time. It's not perfect but it seems to work here.
