Does anyone know what the GM recomended CP mark up is? We have to have the parts manager adjust the prices every month or so.

It used to be almost always 67%, but now it seems it rarely is. I think it still averages out to that, but I was flipping through part numbers this morning and here's some examples:
Part # PartName List Dlr Price Mark-up
12205089 Module $268 $187.60 43%
12204969 BCM $237.05 $118.52 100%
12205116 Knob $16.59 $9.45 75.5%

From paging through it seems like a majority of pricing is this way.

If your parts manager is having to adjust prices every month or so; it sounds like maybe every time he runs a monthly price update tape that it is wiping out any manual changes he has made. If this is the case, then he needs to find out how to segregate those "price-sensitive" items into a seperate source that doesn't update the selling price when an update tape is run. Depending on your DMS provider, there are many in these forums who are glad to assist in doing this.

This should be done automatically when the monthly price updates are run. We run our own matrix, but that changes (going by the new cost) automatically too.
