We were on a 7-12 (7-7-7 days a week )schedule for several years.
We are now on a 6x14 (Mon-Sat 7am-9pm)schedule and it is working much better and easier to staff for.
my guys love working 39 hrs in 3 days and having 4 days off each week.
Obviously I have support and whsl that work 5 days a week.
Plus it effectively doubles your capacity.
Two full crews working 3 days each.

I am reading about all these different schedules JUST (1) Big Questions? How do you effectively handle carry over work from one team to the other? Does your heavy repair people work a different schedule or are the float schedules only QUICK SERVICE? I am very interesed but just have a few questions??????
