scheduling is performed by the service advisors in our store. appointments are entered directly in the system (eds) as a repair order. the appointment is marked on a paper form that resembles the number of bays in the shop blocked in 1/2 hour incements. the customer name is entered in a block and other blocks are checksed off to indicate the estimated time the job will fill. the paper schedule is a quick check for available time on any given day.
whe the customer arrives the appointment is already written in the system. it is quick to confirm and/or change what the vehicle is in for regardless of who took the appointment and who is currently waiting on the customer.
