I don't know what the lemon law in other states is about, but in Ohio, any repair order that is opened and not closed for 30 days is opening the manufacturer and the dealer up to a lemon law situation. If the vehicle is not driveable, that's a different story. If the vehicle is driveable, close the repair order. Yes, there is also the concern about visits to the dealership for the same problem, but the lemon law will fly a lot higher if the ro is left open for a long time.
