4.7 EGR Valve

Just found out from STAR that the EGR Valve for our 4.7's (new p# 53034058ab) has problems, will put the mil light on rather quickly. We put 3 on before we found out. No info on clean dates yet. STAR suggests using the old p#.

Thanks for the info Mopar. I have one here myself right now. I'm suprised you found someone at STAR that was willing to admit that, or even admit they knew!

Here's the latest. I hear it is going to superceed to an "ac" number which does show up in Dealer Connect(backordered)! I also found out from the Depot that the packaging date code of 2/7/07 and 2/8/07 are the suspect ones. They sent me out one dated 2/23/07 and we reluctantly put it on a customers vehicle and so far so good.
