We are just getting started and it's to early to tell. We added on-line scheduling and that seems to be starting off well.I will try to give some numbers later when we see how it works.

At my previous dealer I was with RPM and did email specials. They are quick and effective. Email sent Monday would mean new appointments on Tuesday. Try that with a newspaper.

We have been very successful using email. We have over 24k active customers in our database and over 19.5k email addresses. This has lowered our marketing costs by almost 70%. We email out vehicle specific marketing campaigns every month. On our hard copy marketing to our current customers we have been putting a link for them to sign up for email coupons and marketing campaigns. We are telling our customers that we will soon no longer send out hard copy service marketing and coupons.

We use a company to set up individual URL's for everyone of our customers and we update the coupons on the customer's personalized sites every month.

Soon we will only send out hard copy marketing to lost cusotmers and conquest customers.

Our customers print our the customized coupons for the service and/or parts work / purchases they are interested in and bring it with them.
