Is the ACR2000 obsolete?

Just read GM TSB 07-01-38-004. It says that the ACR 2000 does not meet then new AC standards, an upgrade may be available, and GM isn't paying for it.

Should a new AC machine be in our plans for next year?

Yes! GM tool has the current machines discounted + a leak detector so they can sell out their current stock before the new updated machine hits.
You will be billed on your open parts account.

I hate our two ACR2000's like no other piece equipment we've ever owned. I've spent more money keeping those pieces of crap alive than all of the other equipment in my shop combined.

They should have named them the "90-D".
