Competitive vs Maintenance?

We use a report in ADP in the -S account: CP-ASC that does analysis on RO's among other things. How do you all make the determination which op codes would be considered a "competitive" op vs. a "maintenance" op. The other 2 catagories available are "menu" and "repair". Thanks

I would think that anymore all maintenance is pretty much competitive. Example is my brake jobs are at $50.00 per hour, tune up at $60.00 Oil changes at $25.00 and so on. How ever for repair work it is figured on a grid. I hope this will help.

homey,

When you go to print the report, it will ask if you want to change the setups. Answer Y, and you will see the ability to define work types by either labor-type or op-code. There is a manual to the routine.

Dale

Have manual and have figured out how to change the setups, our question was just in the terminology and what everyone's opinion of the type of work and what catagory it falls into.
