New bodyshop manager ?? What first ?

HI, i am from Canada and after 20 years in service, i am taking a nice project in a body shop. One of my friend is a new Chrysler dealer and he needs help. They have the sales (125000 of labor/month) but NO NET ! i will start in a couple of weeks but i would like to know where would you guys start and is there some reading available for my start ?

Orders are filled daily and shipped via USPS. Depending on where you are located - a couple to a few days normally.
