Tool vendors in shop

I have thought of limiting the tool vendors currently we have 3 that stop buy on 3 different days and each spends time going around to all the technicians. Has anyone set certain times for them to come in or limit it to certain days?

No, I have not actually set any restrictions but I do have to "reel in the troops" from time to time when they spend too much time shooting the breeze.

In my case, though, the Snap-on guy is also one of the dealership's best customers...regularly buys new cars from us. A bit difficult to put my foot down too hard !
