I am a consultant for a Document Managment company that is looking to get into the automotive dealership market to offer its Totally Affordable Document Management Solutions.
My question is simple, how much of a problem is the "paper chase" in the dealership world...especially in the Service Department?
Imagine being able to pull up any document associated with a VIN, (ie, extended warranty documents, full service history, Past Work Orders w/Tech Notes, We-Owes, PO's, etc.) right on your PC screen...we think there is a huge need...I would just like to hear from the class what the issues are and if you all see a demanding need in the marketplace?
