The simplest way would be to get a report from payroll showing how many hours per week that they post per tech

The Excel sheet would vertically list the techs and have 52 horizontal columns for the hours per week.

Not sure if this is the extent of the detail that you want, or if you're trying to go deeper with details such as type of labor, or gross profit, or ELR , etc.

Are you able to download data from your DMS to Excel?

Kevin,

Setting one up in Excel is very easy. I log the techs daily hours from the payroll sheets with a running total of weekly and MTD totals. I also have it set up where I enter the number of days they work each month and a calculation that gives me hours turned per day. It really helps when a tech walks in complaining that he does not get enough hours. If you want to see one e-mail me.

jazdale- I can download from my DMS, I appreciate your 52 line description. And yes, I am really trying to drill down.

Fixedopsmgr- check you email!! Thanks for he offer.

Everyone- I will compile info and post what I find works best. I have a couple of excel sheets but I am not happy with either.
